Desteny Jackson Recruiter

Desteny was born in Tallahassee, Florida, but moved to Summerville, SC, where she was raised. In high school, she received the Palmetto State Award and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry for her performance as commander of her ROTC battalion. After high school, she attended Paul Mitchell's School for Cosmetology and earned her certificate. She then attended Southeastern College, where she gained her Associates in Science in Radiologic Technology and realized it was her passion to help people. After graduation, she moved to Cairo, GA, for a fresh beginning and found New Hire by searching for work in the area; she was then recruited for an in-house role and worked at the Cairo location for a short time, before coming to Thomasville permanently.
She currently resides with her husband, Isaac, whom she met in elementary school and recently married in December 2023; her pit bull, Bear; and her two cats, SOMO and Sushi. You can find her spending her time at the lake, dabbling in photography/arts, or browsing local farmers markets for new treats. Desteny states, “I look forward to continuing to help applicants who are looking for their footing in a new career.
