Chandler Hurst is a Thomasville native and a graduate of Thomas County Central High School. Early in her career, Chandler worked Customer Service at Harvey’s Supermarket and Wolff Tan/Zoom Tan. It was during this time that she was approached to join New Hire. Chandler came aboard with New Hire Solutions in the fall of 2014 as a receptionist. Since then, she has been promoted several times and currently serves as the Talent and Business Coordinator. You can often find Chandler out in our communities conducting hiring events, job fairs, and employment education workshops at high schools.
Over the years, Chandler has earned many awards including NHS Employee of the Year in 2015, Kiwanis Leadership and Service Award in 2017, NHS Thick and Thin Award in 2019, and NHS Thomasville Branch High Five Award in 2021. In addition to her responsibilities at NHS, Chandler also serves as an Ambassador for the Thomasville - Thomas County Chamber of Commerce and was a graduate of Leadership Thomas, Class 34. Chandler's most recent program she graduated from was the South Georgia LEADS Regional Leadership Program in April of 2021. In 2017, she was a nominee for The Bob “Hutch” Hutchison Service Award (Ambassador of the Year) and received the NHS Thomasville Office High Five Award in December of 2021.
While serving throughout Southwest Georgia, she also is involved with the Bainbridge Leads Group that meets to network with other businesses. She serves on the Advisory Boards for Pelham High, Thomasville High, Thomas County Central High, Valdosta High, Southern Regional Technical College, and Cairo High School Governing Board of Directors for the College and Career Academy. She is also very involved with the Bainbridge Kiwanis Club, Thomasville Kiwanis Club and the Satellite Club which is a branch from the Thomasville Kiwanis Club. She is a member of the OakFest Committee and organization team to help at-risk children in Thomas County. Additionally, Chandler was previously involved with the Women's Forum of Thomasville, an active member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville, and was in the Thomasville Music and Drama Troupe for seven years.
Outside of work, you can find Chandler at the coast fishing with her husband, boating, or spending time with family, friends, and her puppies.
